Bordeaux UK is one of a small number of wine merchants who are able to sell wine en primeur, which involves buying wine while it is still in the barrel and has not yet been bottled. By purchasing en primeur wine at such at early stage, buyers are generally able to buy for a significantly lower price than what they would have to pay once the wines have been bottled and imported. This method also guarantees an allocation of wines which would be difficult to acquire (due to high demand) once they have been bottled.
